BEE SCHOOL!

Cassandra Jensen, aka Queen Bee Cazz
  • Busy Bee JAMzzzzzz is ALL about music!
  • Be School Ready is all about SCHOOL READINESS!

Busy Bee JAMzzzzzz is a 30 min. weekly session for little ones with 15 mins. sensory play and 45mins for Preschoolers.

Your child will learn about the foundations of music theory – beat, rhythm, melody, harmony. You and your child will both learn the ukulele, keyboard, percussion and how to sing.

This interactive session will give your little one the chance to meet some new friends and so will you!

Busy Bee JAMzzzzzz and Be School Ready will run on the same morning and return in Term 4 2018.

Our School Readiness Program, “Be School Ready”, is the newest addition to our Busy Bee Programs.

Be School Ready is for preschoolers and designed by Early Childhood teacher, Kylie Camilleri, to guide and assist children in preparation for school. The focus will be on not only the basic numeracy and literacy necessary for beginning school, but most importantly, social and self help skills.

We will explore fine motor skills such as pencil grip, using scissors and ability to write.

Foundation skills in reading will be explored, such as recognise their name, identifying the alphabet/numbers and comprehension skills.

Delivery of these skills will be taught with social/communication and self help/resilience focus.

Kylie Camilleri, Be School Ready Facilitator.

These skills are paramount in shaping children into the transition and adjustment from preschool to Kindergarten (Early Stage 1).

“The Busy Bees music class Is brilliant. Super fun atmosphere and freedom to be creative. My child smiles for most of the class and sings and plays her ukulele all week remembering the fun. Highly recommended!” – Joanne

Testimonials

“Highly recommend Unity Studios for keyboard/piano lessons. Both my primary school aged children received tuition and they thoroughly enjoyed it! Fun, kind, caring, atmosphere to learn in.” – Alison

“The Drama workshop I took this term is taught very much like the courses taught during school. The fact that we have a variety of ages within the class provides a learning opportunity for the younger students. It is a comfortable space to be apart of, as all of the students are seeking the same sort of mentoring.” – Anna

“I took my 10 month old and 3 year old to the Busy Bees workshop. They both loved it, especially the songs and instruments. Even my 3 year old joined in when previously she’s resisted joining in with group activities. Very happy!” – Ulina

“Thank you, Cassandra, for the most exhilarating and enjoyable course, “Ukulele for Beginners”. You provided us with many avenues to explore and much insight into this under-estimated but wonderful little musical instrument…and we had fun!” – Ann
