Our very first Unity Art & Craft Evening was held on 2nd September 2022.
These workshops were inspired by my Mum, whose nurturing spirit and heartfelt experiences with her own crafting group left a lasting impact. In her honour, we began our Unity Art & Craft fundraising evenings — a space where creativity, connection, and community come together.
Our goal is to raise money for different charities while offering a place where others can also find peace, comfort, support, and the chance to forge new friendships. We gather once a month to enjoy arts and craft activities, share laughter, and walk through life’s journey side-by-side.

This month’s Craft-a-Noon supporting Power and Justice!

Our monthly Craft-a-Noon community event continues to bring people together through creativity — and this month, we’re proud to announce that we’ll be raising funds for Power and Justice.
Power and Justice is an Australian non-profit organisation committed to restoring hope, dignity and opportunity to individuals experiencing exploitation, poverty, abuse and social injustice. Through education, vocational training, community development and practical support initiatives, they work to empower vulnerable individuals and families both locally and globally.
Their mission strongly resonates with our own belief that education, creativity and community can create meaningful change.
Join us on Sunday 31 May | 2:00pm–4:00pm at Unity Studios for an afternoon of creativity, connection and purpose.
Minimum donation of $30 per person applies and all proceeds from this event will go directly toward supporting Power and Justice.
We have an art or craft activity you can join in with or feel free to bring a current craft project or simply come along to connect with others in our community.
